INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis mother and her boyfriend are accused of fatally neglecting a 4-year-old boy with medical issues and locking him in a closet for hours each day.
The investigation began March 23, when IMPD responded to a death investigation at the couple’s home on Monticello Drive, near South Meridian Street and West Sumner Avenue on the city’s south side.
Officers and paramedics found 4-year-old Malachi Lovely unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at Riley Hospital for Children a short time later…
