An Indianapolis City‑County councilor said his home was shot up with nearly a dozen bullets overnight, leaving him shaken but unharmed, after someone fired into the front door of the residence and left behind a note reading “no data centers,” police said.
Democratic Councilor Ron Gibson told WTHR TV that he and his son were sleeping inside the home on the city’s northeast side when the gunfire erupted, shattering a glass storm door and peppering the entrance with bullet holes.
No injuries were reported, and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirmed to Newsweek the shooting is under investigation, coming days after Gibson supported a rezoning vote for a proposed data center in his district…
