INDIANAPOLIS — A person was critically injured in a shooting on the far east side of Indianapolis Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 200 block of South German Church Road around 1:54 p.m. to investigate a shooting. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
IMPD indicated that the victim is currently in critical condition. Police have not yet provided any additional updates on the victim’s medical status.
