Listeria alert issued for deli meat sold in Indiana, Illinois

(NewsNation) — A public health alert has been issued for deli meat that may be contaminated with listeria.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service on Saturday announced a recall of Daisy Brand head cheese with a use-by date of March 26, 2026. The recall also includes products labeled “hot.”
