Indiana man gets federal probation for selling cocaine, guns in Bloomington

PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — An Indiana man has been sentenced to federal probation for selling cocaine and guns in Bloomington.

On May 7, Melvin May, 44, of Indianapolis, formerly of Bloomington, was sentenced to five years’ probation by U.S. District Judge Jonathan Hawley, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Springfield.

May pleaded guilty to four counts of distribution of cocaine and two counts of possession of a firearm as a felon…
