INDIANAPOLIS — As Indianapolis Public Schools students head into summer break, three longtime teachers at James A. Garfield School 31 are preparing for a major milestone: retirement.
Second grade teacher Laura Hughes is finishing her 37th year in the classroom, all of them at IPS 31.
