Look: Six loose sheep wander through North Carolina neighborhood

June 3 (UPI) — Animal Services personnel were summoned to a North Carolina neighborhood to round up a flock of “six woolly trespassers,” five white sheep and a black ram.

The Durham County Sheriff’s Office said on social media that Animal Services deputies and officers responded to Duck Pond Court on Monday to round up the five ewes “and one distinguished black ram.”

The responders used trash cans, pig boards and a neighbor’s cornhole boards to create a makeshift barrier to contain the wandering sheep.

“While the perimeter held, another officer managed to leash the ram and escort him to the ewes, who instantly calmed down once their gentleman friend arrived,” the post said…
