CARRBORO, N.C. (WNCN) — A fully-involved fire in a Carrboro neighborhood early Wednesday morning decimated a building and spread to woods, spurring a major response from multiple fire agencies.
Around 6:30 a.m., crews were called to Glosson Circle, a residential area between W. Main St. and Jones Ferry Rd. The initial call reported a brush fire, however, Carrboro Fire Chief Will Potter said crews could see a large column of smoke that was coming from a structure.
On arrival, he said fire crews found a fully-involved fire at a “very large, two-story accessory building.” Just before 8 a.m., a CBS 17 crew captured photos of the scene, located behind a home, while crews worked to try to get the fire under control…
