RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Communities pulled together Wednesday as they cleaned up following severe storms that caused widespread damage, knocked out power, and claimed a man’s life.
The Wake County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the Ferguson home on the 51-hundred block of Barton’s Enclave Lane — heavily damaged by downed oak trees — just before 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Firefighters and EMS found 71-year-old Michael Ferguson trapped inside, where he was pronounced dead — his exact cause of death yet to be released…
