More cases of cyclosporiasis reported in NC

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCT) — The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is now reporting 929 cases of cyclosporiasis since May 1.

According to the NCDHHS cyclosporiasis dashboard, there have been 23 newly reported cases in the past week, including one reported hospitalization.

515 cases of cyclosporiasis have been reported in Wake County, while in eastern North Carolina, six cases have been reported in Pitt County, four in Craven County, two in Duplin County, two in Dare County, and two in Onslow County…
