The Lake Johnson Park pool is often lauded as a city gem. For just $5, residents have access to a lap and recreation pool seven days a week. All summer long, the pool is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, those hours are shortened to 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Soon, the fun won’t be limited to the summer months.
The city of Raleigh announced that the pool will close early this year, to begin a renovation project that will make the pool accessible year round. The project will also renovate the pool house.
