Evan Reid furniture store, known for selling mid-century modern and antique furnishings, is opening a new location in late September.
The business, owned by Evan Bush, has operated a gallery at 111 Old Williamson Road in Raleigh for three years. While keeping the original location, the home furnishings store plans to turn the upcoming 530 Hillsborough St. site into a flagship location for interior design firm Yasu Home, by Kate Anlyan.
“The concept behind the gallery grew organically in conversation between Kate and me as we both identified a gap in the Raleigh market,” Bush said in a press release. “At long last, we are providing an underserved customer with a destination to discover one-of-a-kind restored mid-century and post-modern pieces, fine art, custom upholstery, and carefully collected home goods.”…
