The Durham Police Department’s Traffic and Crash Team is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian that happened early Sept. 13.
Around 2 a.m., officers responded to South Miami Boulevard, where Juan Jose Acevedo Archila, 18, had been involved in a crash that left his vehicle disabled in the roadway.
