RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — 19-year-old Faith Hedgepeth, a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, was found dead in her apartment on September 7, 2012.
Investigators found Hedgepeth’s body leaning against the bed and would later learn she was beaten with a Bacardi rum bottle.
Before she was killed, police said Hedgepeth and her roommate Karena Rosario visited Davis Library on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus about 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 6, 2012, and returned to the apartment on the border of Durham and Orange counties around 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 7, 2012…
