A woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after a late-night shooting in southern Wake County, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies from the Wake County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunshots in the 3700 block of Westbury Lake Drive in Raleigh to find a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. The area is off Lake Wheeler Road.
