When Hannah Moell needs childcare, she travels nearly 30 minutes from North Raleigh to Youngsville to drop her two toddlers off.
Moell was one of several people who shared their stories with the Raleigh City Council on Wednesday night on the difficulties of finding affordable childcare in the area.
Statewide, there is an average of more than five families with young children competing for every one available child care space, according to the North Carolina Early Childhood Foundation.…
