GARNER, NC – A violent altercation at the Walmart on 4500 Fayetteville Road on the evening of January 23, 2024, has resulted in a fatality. The incident, which occurred just after 6 PM, involved a shooting in the parking lot of the retail store.
Emergency Medical Services initially transported the male victim to the hospital, but he has since been pronounced dead. The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
