Durham Public Schools officials announced late Tuesday that eleven schools will be closed on Wednesday, due to large numbers of school employees calling out of work. The Durham Association of Educators (DAE) says at least 75% of school employees at each of these schools called off work to protest recent cuts to raises for classified staff.
