ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – William Peace tied for third in the Don Scalf Memorial men’s golf tournament Monday at Belmont Lake Golf Club. The Pacers shot a 27-over par 603 to tie Chowan in the two-day tournament. Sandhills Community College placed first with a 3-under par 573 followed by host N.C. Wesleyan with a 20-over par 596. Johnson & Wales was fifth with a 93-over par 669 on the par 72, 6,505-yard course.
