CLAYTON — Police here are searching for an armed robber.
Just after 7 p.m. on Thursday, an armed man fired a shot in the air as he entered the Domino’s Pizza at 10441 U.S. 70 Business.
He went behind the counter, grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash, fired another shot in the air and took the manager’s cellphone.
The man then left the scene in a silver vehicle. Police found the cellphone a few miles away on the side of a road.
Surveillance footage showed a black male wearing dark-colored clothing over a white shirt, white and black athletic shows, a face covering and latex gloves.
