Michigan teen girl found with man in Raleigh motel weeks after disappearance, U.S. Marshals say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Authorities found a teenage girl from Michigan who had been missing for over two weeks at a Raleigh motel, leading to the arrest of a man who investigators said was involved in her disappearance, according to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Office.

The teen was reported missing to police in Roseville, Michigan, on April 20, eventually referring to the city’s detective bureau one day later after being unable to locate the child, the U.S. Marshals Office said.

Police obtained footage from a Roseville gas station that showed the teen buying a water bottle before leaving the store. Based on a tip that the girl had been spotted in a neighboring township, city police detectives and other local agencies canvassed the area on April 30, learning the child was seen in a trailer park just days before, officials said…
