Raleigh Engages Citizens with ‘Coffee and Conversations’ Series Starting with Disability Pride Focus

In efforts to foster local discussions on pertinent social issues, Raleigh’s Community Engagement Department has partnered with A Place at the Table for a series of monthly events dubbed “Coffee and Conversations.” The inaugural gathering, set to commence on July 12th, will honor Disability Pride Month, featuring collaborators from the Alliance of Disability Advocates. According to the City of Raleigh’s official announcement, the initiative seeks to create an inclusive space for dialogue and understanding without the confines of a formal agenda.

The timing for the kick-off event has been slated for 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the community-centric café A Place at the Table located at 300 W Hargett St Unit 50, in Raleigh, NC.
