Flooding a threat as showers and storm roll through central North Carolina

Persistent rainfall throughout the day has prompted the National Weather Service to issue various flood advisories.

Wake, Franklin, Johnston, and Nash counties are under a Flash Flood Warning through 5:30 p.m. Nearly the entire viewing area is under a Flood Watch through midnight.
