Two pets died and one person was injured in a house fire Saturday morning in Morrisville.
The Morrisville Fire/Rescue Department responded to a structure fire on Downing Glen Drive at 6:47 a.m. One person was rescued from the home, while another escaped through a second-story window, the fire department said.
The rescued individual was taken to the UNC Burn Center for treatment. The other person, who was uninjured, was later arrested on an unrelated active warrant by the Morrisville Police Department…
