Son accused of killing his father at North Carolina hotel

GARNER, N.C. (WNCN) — A man was arrested late Wednesday night after his father was found shot to death at a Johnston County hotel earlier that day, deputies said.

According to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were contacted just before 4 p.m. by an employee of the Sleep Inn in the 100 block of Commerce Parkway in Garner. The employee informed deputies that a victim was found dead in one of the hotel’s rooms.
