For the Charlotte area, overnight and early Saturday morning won’t be as soggy as early Friday morning was. Scattered showers and storms will remain possible Saturday in the mountains and foothills. A cold front arrives Sunday and will provide a greater chance area-wide for scattered showers and storms. Following that front, much cooler and drier air will take over next week.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday in the Triad.
In central North Carolina and along the coast, we’ll see a few more clouds Saturday and the nice temperatures will continue. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight with overnight lows in the 60s. Look for partly sunny skies Saturday with highs back in the upper 70s to mid-80s. More moisture moves in from the south Saturday night and Sunday.
