Raleigh, N.C. – A heavy rainstorm will sweep across central North Carolina this weekend, bringing a flash flooding risk to parts of the Piedmont and urban areas. The most intense storms are expected between Friday evening and Saturday morning, with rainfall totals reaching 1 to 3 inches and localized amounts potentially higher.
