2,000+ join Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Raleigh, raising over $435,000 for research and support

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The Alzheimer’s Association – Eastern North Carolina chapter held its annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s event on Saturday outdoors at Halifax Mall in Raleigh.

More than 2,000 participants gathered to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease through a Promise Garden ceremony. Walkers carried flowers in various colors, each representing their personal connection to the disease.
