RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The future of several downtown Raleigh businesses is in limbo after a controversial 27-story high-rise project moved one step closer to reality.
Raleigh City Council voted Tuesday to rezone the site to make way for the West at Peace development, a mixed-use tower planned along West Street. The decision could displace several local shops and gyms, including Knuckle Up Boxing Gym and Fitness Center.
