Cary, North Carolina, will begin its annual loose-leaf collection program on November 3, 2025. Additional collection dates are December 1, 2025, and January 5, 2026. Residents should prepare leaves for curbside pickup.
Leaf piles must be free of sticks, mulch, or rocks and placed away from fire hydrants, storm drains, and water meter boxes. Leaves should be set out up to one week before the scheduled date. Residents are asked not to park on the street during collection periods.
The town will make at least two passes through each neighborhood before Christmas Day. Collected leaves are turned into compost. A live map at carync.gov/leaves shows the progress of collection trucks…
