According to NWS Raleigh, today will bring chances of rain both before and after the noon hour, with the skies remaining overcast and a high struggling to reach 58 degrees as gusts of wind may peak up to 21 mph—and the chance of precipitation is currently standing at 30 percent.

Tonight, the probability of rain jumps significantly to 90 percent, and the weather service expects new precipitation amounts between a quarter and half an inch, so if you’re hitting the town, it’s recommended you to remember to bring an umbrella, alongside the rain, the low temperature around 50 and the northeast wind 10 to 14 mph with higher gusts could make it a night where many might just prefer to stay in.
