Assistant Enloe HS principal faces charges after allegedly driving while impaired causing crash

An assistant principal of Enloe High School was arrested and charged following a car accident on Thursday night.

According to court documents, Jamie Ricardo Poindexter Jackson, 47, of Youngsville was allegedly driving while impaired on North Smithfield Road and McKnight Drive, causing an accident. A woman in the car sustained a head injury, and two children — ages 3 and 8, both of whom Jackson is the father — were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
