Town of Cary Announces Leaf Collection, Soccer Event, and Community Activities for November 4-10

The Town of Cary has announced several updates and events for the week of November 4-10, 2025. The first town-wide loose leaf collection began on November 3. Residents should place leaves at the curb by 7 a.m., up to a week before each collection. Leaves can also be bagged in brown paper bags or reusable containers for weekly yard waste pickup, or dropped off at the Citizen’s Convenience Center on N. Dixon Avenue. The Cary Collects app provides collection notifications and tips.

Cary has signed a long-term agreement with The Soccer Tournament (TST). The 7v7 soccer event will be held at WakeMed Soccer Park through 2029. The partnership is supported by a grant from the NC Department of Commerce. The event is expected to increase local tourism and spending.

Harvest Fest will take place on November 15 at Cary’s historic farm. The free event will include live music, local food, craft vendors, and environmental education. Visitors can tour the farm and learn about gardening and Cary’s agricultural history…
