Lewis Barbecue Opening In The Triangle

Lewis Barbecue has a location in the works in North Carolina. The Charleston-based brand is heading to a more than 8,000-square-foot space at the Salvage Yard at the Raleigh Iron Works development, according to Axios Raleigh.

This spot will join existing locations in Charleston and Greenville and will mark the first location for the brand in North Carolina. There is also a location on the way to Atlanta.

Originally from El Paso, pitmaster John Lewis opened Lewis Barbecue in June 2016, bringing Central Texas-style barbecue to Charleston.
