On November 7, 2025, Durham County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported assault on the 5100 block of Barbee Chapel Rd in Durham, North Carolina. Authorities say the incident started as a verbal argument between the victim and a known acquaintance and became physical. The victim received several cuts and was taken to a local hospital. The injuries are not life-threatening.
