Every child deserves to know what it feels like to belong. In Wake County, 45 kids are still waiting for that chance, many of them teens who’ve spent years hoping for a permanent family. They understand what it means to be chosen, and what it feels like to be overlooked.
To help more families take that life-changing step, Wake County is hosting an Adoption Information Fair on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wake County Commons Building. The event is free and open to anyone interested in adopting through Wake County Foster Care. Unlike private adoption, there is no cost to adopt through the County.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP by Nov. 12 at https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=0RKkxb86pEOMW0pTpswPL0joQErD5B1PoBP8NAoy1yNUMDlOVjdWRjk1Sk8wSUNGMkRQNVdCVEdVNC4u…
