Man facing multiple felony charges in Raleigh shooting on Glenwood Avenue, warrant shows

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man is facing multiple felony charges in connection to a shooting on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh over the weekend, according to a warrant.

Court documents show Wayne Norman Jones was arrested Thursday and charged with four felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, one felony county of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, one felony charge of discharging a weapon into occupied property and a misdemeanor count of injury to real property.

According to the arrest warrant, Norman shot into a 2016 Hyundai Sonata located at 107 Glenwood Avenue on Nov. 16. Five people were inside the vehicle, the warrant said, with one of them suffering an injury during the incident…
