“The deli is going to be like a New York-style deli but with some Indian twist to it,” Raez told Business Debut. He is targeting both the area’s Indian community and transplants from Northeastern cities such as New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Chicago.
One planned specialty is a butter chicken burrito made with traditional butter chicken and basmati rice. It will be topped with a fresh salsa of cucumber, tomato, onion, cilantro and thinly diced mango, offering an Indian take on pico de gallo, and served with a cucumber, mint and yogurt raita for dipping…
