Federal officials have charged a man with assaulting, resisting or impeding officers, accusing him of ramming his car into ICE agents’ vehicles in Morrisville.
Milton Ermilo Arreaga Roblero, 23, was charged Dec. 4, court records show. Federal deportation officers were trying to detain a different man who had a deportation order for removal on Dec. 2.
“Assaulting a federal officer is an attack on the rule of law itself,” U.S. Attorney Ellis Boyle said in a Tuesday release. “When someone allegedly drives a vehicle to threaten or endanger ICE agents, we treat it with the utmost seriousness. We have zero tolerance for conduct that puts our officers or the public at risk, and this office will take every lawful step to protect our families, officers, and communities.”…
