RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man lost his life Thursday night after being hit and killed by a car in northern Wake County, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said.
According to highway patrol, the victim was walking along the west bound shoulder of Durham Road near the intersection of Peed Road just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday night.
The victim was then struck by a vehicle that then fled from the scene, leaving behind debris, highway patrol said. First responders attempted CPR, according to highway patrol, but the man died of his injuries at the scene…
