RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Thousands of lights, towering inflatables, and festive displays now cover nearly every home along Winter Song Road in Raleigh’s Bedford at Falls River neighborhood, turning the street into a holiday destination for families across the Triangle.
The neighborhood tradition began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way for neighbors to spread joy. It has grown into a coordinated display that many visitors say feels straight out of a Hallmark movie. Festive extras like a snow flurry machine make you feel like you’re in the North Pole, rather than North Carolina.

Neighbors say Winter Song Road is best experienced on foot, giving visitors a chance to enjoy the details up close. Residents ask drivers to turn off headlights when traveling through the street and encourage visitors to park nearby and walk in.
