CARY, N.C. (WNCN) — Troopers have reopened lanes on N.C. Highway 540 after a driver survived a horrific car crash in Wake County.
An alert from the North Carolina Department of Transportation was sent to drivers around 9:15 a.m. Monday saying that all lanes on NC-540, also known as the Triangle Expressway, near Green Level Road.
According to NCDOT, a crash occurred and lanes would be closed for hours on that road…
