The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
On Dec. 25, deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 2600 block of Simpkins Road, near Raleigh, according to the sheriff’s office. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, the sheriff’s office said in a press release. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
