Last night, the Town of Apex Fire Department was called into action to extinguish a vehicle fire on US 1 northbound, just before Tryon Road. The Town of Apex Fire Department’s social media post provided a brief on the incident, confirming that Apex Fire’s response units E34, L34, BC6, and Cary Fire Department’s E6 attended the scene with assistance from the Cary Police Department.
