CLAYTON — A 2012 Audi was seized and its driver jailed following a high-speed chase that crossed county lines Saturday night.
Clayton Police Chief Greg Tart said the incident occurred Dec. 27 when an officer clocked a vehicle traveling 75 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone on Clayton Boulevard near Town Centre Boulevard.
The driver, identified as 45-year-old Marcus Deale Boykin of Clinton, was reportedly operating the Audi when the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Instead of pulling over, police said the vehicle made a U-turn on Clayton Boulevard and fled westbound…
