Three Pitt County women were arrested on Friday, Jan. 16, following a vehicle pursuit that started on I-40 in Wake County, according to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.
WCSO deputies tried to stop the vehicle that was traveling at a high speed just before 11:00 a.m. on I-40 East near I-87. The driver did not stop, resulting in a pursuit going through several roadways, including Poole Road, New Bern Avenue, I-440, I-87, and U.S. 64, WCSO says.
