WINDSOR – The Bertie County Sheriff’s Office reports Dalton Conner, a convicted arsonist who failed to show up last week to begin serving a prison sentence, has been located.
Bertie County Sheriff Tyrone Ruffin said Conner was taken into custody on Tuesday in Wake County. As of Friday morning, Conner remained in jail in Wake County, according to Ruffin.
