A man is dead and a woman was seriously injured in a shooting Thursday that dispatch records indicate may have been a domestic-violence situation.
Kristopher Cruz, 28, was found dead from a gunshot wound at a home in the 1200 block of Damascus Drive near Wendell on Thursday morning, the Wake County Sheriff’s Office said. A woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. Her name was not released.
Dispatch records indicate someone called 911 just before 9 a.m. and could be heard loudly arguing with another person. The shootings apparently occurred while the caller was still on the phone with 911…
