GARNER — A man died Sunday after a confrontation with Johnston County deputies at a Garner residence, prompting an independent probe by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.
Johnston County 911 Communications received a call around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, from a woman reporting that a family member was behaving erratically and firing a weapon inside a residence.
