RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement agents had to break open a door in a raid of an illegal nightclub last week, leading to five gun seizures and nine arrests on nearly 70 charges.
The culprits running the bar “have a history of operating illegal businesses and nightclubs where people have been shot and injured on multiple occasions,” according to a North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement news release.
The bust came after a tip was received about “illegal activity” at a business named Blue Vibes, located in an otherwise nondescript building at 4904 Atlantic Ave., NC ALE officials said.
